Rams qualify events for state track & field meet

The Greene County boys competed at Ogden in the 2A district track and field meet May 15.

“We had some really good performances,” head coach Chad Morton said.

Kamden Kinne broke the school record and got second in the shot put with a throw of 52-07.25. Broc Stream got second in the long jump with a jump of 22-01.75.

The 4×800 relay won with a time of 8:21.28 (Nick Stream, Crew Conner, Noah Hinote and Drew Wolterman). The distance medley relay won with a time of 3:38.52 (Broc Stream, Zach Stalder, Nick Stream and Wolterman). The Ram 4×400 relay won and set a new school record with a time of 3:30.30 (Nick Stream, Broc Stream, Lane Fields and Wolterman) The old record was from 2013.

“All of our athletes very competed hard. I am very happy with our season and how well our athlete finished. A BIG thank you to our seniors! I love this class! They are very special to me! Because of them, it will be a season I will never forget,” Morton said.
